CANCELLATION POLICY

(applies to full cancellations or group reductions)

Please read through our policy carefully to avoid any misunderstandings.

- On accommodation:

25% payment needs to be deposited into the stated accounts on booking.
If cancelled 60 days or more prior to arrival date, 100% of the amount deposited shall be returned to the client, bank charges borne by the client. If cancelled 30 days to 59 days prior to arrival date, 50% of the amount deposited shall be returned to the client, bank charges borne by the client. If cancelled 30 days or less prior to arrival date, the deposit amount shall be forfeited.

- On Transport (flights, road package, vehicle hire):

Full payment needs to be deposited into the stated accounts on booking. If cancelled 60 days or more prior to arrival date, 100% of the total amount shall be returned to the client, bank charges borne by the client. If cancelled 30 days to 59 days prior to arrival date, 50% of the total amount shall be returned to the client, bank charges borne by the client.
If cancelled 30 days or less prior to arrival date, the total amount shall be forfeited.

- On extra activities (balloon safari, village visits and other activities):

Full payment needs to be deposited into the stated accounts or paid at camp 2 days prior to the date of activity.
If cancelled 25 hours to 48 hours prior to the activity date, 100% of the total amount shall be returned to the client, bank charges borne by the client. If cancelled 24 hours before the activity, 50% of the total amount deposited shall be returned to the client, bank charges borne by the client.
If cancelled on or just before the date of the activity, the total amount shall be forfeited.

NOTES

For ground packages the vehicle is based on sharing basis. All packages include: Free bush breakfast/lunch/dinner (weather permitting),
free sundowner with one alcoholic or non-alcoholic cocktail (weather permitting).
Full board basis includes: 1 night accommodation, all meals, tea/coffee throughout the day.
Ground package includes: 1 night accommodation, all meals, tea/coffee throughout the day, pick up from Mara airstrip, daily shared game drives, drop off to Mara airstrip. Family room rates are based on 4 pax.

Extra Pax refers to additional adults per person. Maximum 1 adult or 2 children. Additional children will be charged at 50% of the extra pax rate.

OTHER CHARGES

Children Sharing with adult: 0-3yrs no charge, 4-12yrs 50% of the per person sharing rate. 2 Children in one room : 0-3yrs not permitted, 1 child at adult rate, 2nd child rate at 50% of the per person sharing rate. Tour Leader rate, if sharing with the client: 50% of the per person sharing rate. Tour Leader rate if staying in a guest tent: normal per person sharing rate with no single supplement.
Tour Leader rate if staying in the tour leader tent: USD 50 per night. Tour Leader rate applies only if the group exceeds 4 pax.
Drivers/Guide accommodation: Basic accommodation + guide meals: KSH 1,000 per person per night. Drivers/Guides having meals at the main buffet: USD 25 per person per meal to be paid in advance.

Extra Lunch: USD 40 per person per meal.
Exclusive vehicle use: USD 250 per vehicle per day.
All inclusive basis: USD 40 per person per day on selected drinks.
All packages exclude: Park fees, extras, items of personal nature, drinks, gratuities, laundry and any other items not mentioned above unless otherwise stated. Subject to availability. E & OE.
